That was wonderful. And anything that can make people stop and think or bring people together, is a good thing. The world needs more Johnnys.

Oh, I agree, we do need more Johnnys!

I had to come back 'cause I remembered someting my brother did. I asked my brother if he would take me to Home Depot to buy manure ect,... he did, and while we were there he got one of those big flat carts, and went around piling my bags on it. When it was time to check out, a little lady behind us asks, "young man, would you get me a bag of peat moss? She was also buying a crabapple tree. To make a very long story short, he loaded items for three other little old ladies, while I had a 20 minute gardening conversation with one of the ladies. Until someone ask him a question he could not answer, did he finally say, " I'm sorry, I don't work here" . I think brother Mike is a Johnny!

You're lucky to have a nice brother like that. I'll bet you are so proud of him.

It makes us all stop and think, doesn't it?

We have one cashier, an "older" man (but I may be his age or older) in my little supermarket. The first time I saw him there and he said, "Where have you been? I've been waiting for you all day!", it just made me laugh - I'd never seen him before in my life. Now I won't go to any other line.
