Thanks so much,

Not yet? i am worried. It was mailed on Friday. EEEEEKKKKK. Maybe I should have mailed priority. BTW, check and let me know if I have sent enough packs and stamps. I found one lonely little prepared pack under the couch, I thought that I counted them, but maybe I did not. I forget how much postage I put in.

hi belinda
take care of yourself, keeping good thoughts for your father and family

Belinda, Hope things go well with your father. It is times like this we need to evaluate what is really important in life. It reminded me of this poem.

The Garden of Daily Living
Prayers and reflections from an Irish gardener in Galway

FOR THE GARDEN OF YOUR DAILY LIVING PLANT THREE ROWS OF PEAS:
1. Peace of mind
2. Peace of heart
3. Peace of soul

PLANT FOUR ROWS OF SQUASH:
1. Squash gossip
2. Squash indifference
3. Squash grumbling
4. Squash selfishness

PLANT FOUR ROWS OF LETTUCE:
1. Lettuce be faithful
2. Lettuce be kind
3. Lettuce be patient
4. Lettuce really love one another

NO GARDEN IS WITHOUT TURNIPS:
1. Turnip for meetings
2. Turnip for service
3. Turnip to help one another

TO CONCLUDE OUR GARDEN WE MUST HAVE THYME:
1. Thyme for each other
2. Thyme for family
3. Thyme for friends

WATER FREELY WITH PATIENCE AND CULTIVATE WITH LOVE. THERE IS MUCH FRUIT IN YOUR GARDEN BECAUSE YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW.

bless you.

Thinking of you today! Hope all is well.

Please do let me know if yours is on the way - - - because by this weekend, I plan on having them all ready to go back in the mail the following Monday.

If anyone needs to contact me; please feel free to email me at bkstarnes@earthlink.net. I get all my email via BB - - - thank you for your patience and understanding. I can tell you that I have seen LOTS of GREAT hummingbird seed that I know all of you will LOVE! Take care.

Got my package today. There were so many beautiful pictures. I got a lot of varieties I have been lusting after in people's garden pics. Thanks so much to everyone. A special thanks to Belinda for making it happen in spite of everything going on. Everyone should remember to post pics next year of how much your hummingbird garden has grown. This swap has certainly helped grow mine. Cyndie

I, too, received my envie today! And it has so many different varieties of seeds! Some I have never heard of and can't wait to try! I still don't have hummers in my yard .... but hopefully with all these seeds ..... I'll have some great plants/blooms to lure them in!!! Everything was wonderful! Thanks to Belinda for doing this swap. I hope all is well with you and yours, Belinda. (Do let us know.)

THANKS everyone for sharing your hummingbird loving plant seeds! I can't wait to start sowing them! Happy Hummer Watching! ~Becky~

Belinda, sending positive thoughts your way, too...hoping that things get better.

I don't mean to be smart-alecky, but have you thought of farming aquatic plants as a minor side line for backup in rainy years? Lilypons ( http://lilypons2.adconn.com/index.htm ) is near us, and they draw upon a nearby river to maintain their ponds. On one half, they've made a series of water gardens as ideas for visitors/customers, and on the other half - our favorite - it's wild, with New York Ironweed and bindweed and jewelweed and joe-pye-weed and water iris wild along the banks with the most incredible array of cormorants (I suspect), gray & green herons, egrets, frogs, etc. Watery "fields" of lotus in July of all kinds perfume the air all around.

Y'all better get out your wet noodles - I deserve a flogging for not reporting in when my seeds came and thanking Belinda for doing this and everyone for the pretty decorations and seed of such gorgeous hummer favorites. This was a great swap.
