I have found the Miracle Gro potting soil gets too dry - it doesn't hold moisture! I know this is opposite that many people here are saying, I have found an organic mix at a local nursery that has a great consistency. Maybe a mixture of topsoil and something like Miracle Gro would create the right consistency?
