font?

Oak Grove, MN(Zone 4a)

What happened to the font?
It's all square now?
Is it just me?

I made a change to the layout today, by adding "11pt" to the style to fix the font at 11 points.

This actually increased the font size on my computer... I can change it back, though!

I can't change it on my computer to make it larger. Please change it so we can adjust it to our personal preference.

Thanks !

Whoa, that was weird! Refreshed and poof, the font changes. I can increase but it's too big then. Not sure now if it actually looks smaller to me or is just the font that gives that impression. I do think I like it though, just off feeling when you are so used to seeing one thing all this time.

Corning, NY(Zone 5a)

How can I make mine the way it was this morning? It is to small now. Or is it just me?

mid central, FL(Zone 9a)

mine is much bigger than before, but i can see it better, so i'm sticking with my "yea"!

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

I used the View menu option at the top of my browser, the Text Size option.

It's smaller on mine. Granted, I'm waiting for an appointment to get an eye exam and new glasses, but for now it's hard to see! ;o)

I used the text size option, but it didn't change the size on DG. Did everywhere else, though.

(Zone 1)

I don't have a clue as to what y'all are talking about ... I haven't noticed any change in font size at all ... what's up?

(Zone 1)

I just used RainGazer's suggestion and changed mine by going up to my browser, clicking on View and changing it to a larger size! Love it!

Hey Dave .... Thanks for thinking of some of us whose eye sight ain't what it used to be!

Lin

(Zone 1)

Just went back and made it even larger! Hee Hee ... Now, I'm really liking this! Don't need my contact's or my glasses!

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

That is too strange. I tried to adjust my font but it only increased the members name area but not the post size...lol
I have mine set on the largest size & it di nothing. :(

my font wont change with the computer. everything else does but Dg remains small and its way to small. i even tried to use the mouse to make ity bigger and didnt help. Can we have a box that we can make it the way we need it. It hurts my eyes this way.

Santiago, Chile(Zone 9b)

Dear Dave, whatever you did allows me know to have (almost) the full width of the page on my screen. Before that, I followed the instructions given to other people asking about the same problem but nothing helped. As far as I am concerned, I am VERY happy with the change.

Hugs,

Ursula

Ooooh, I am one happy camper, I just booted up my laptop and changed the font size on there too! Sure hope everyone else can find out how to make this change on their computers too ... really makes it easier on the eyes!

Thanks again Dave!

Central, KY(Zone 6b)

I thought I was going crazy until I checked over here. I prefer the ability to make mine a little smaller and the text re-sizer under "view" on my browser won't change it.

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

I must say it is harder for me to read. My text size is set to the largest option and I had to use the zoom set to 150% to get the text to be the same as it was before so I can read it comfortably. Doing that it enlarges everything so the page must be scrolled across to see all of the page. Then I have to change the settings back again to normal to view other sites.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Hate the small font. Cant read it well with or without my glasses!

Sorry dave!

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Way to small for me. My text size is at it's largest now. Please put it back!!! )-:

Northumberland, United Kingdom(Zone 9a)

Hmmm . . . can it be re-set to how it used to be, so that people can set their own font size preference, please? I like it smaller than the new 11pt, but I can guess there are many who don't have good eyesight and need it larger (the above posts bear that out, too!)

Thanks!

Please put it back!!!!!!! I hate this look, I want it back like before.....I changed the font on my puter, and the time and names are hugeee, but I don't need to read them!!!!!

I've changed it back.

I liked it better the other way: Then we could adjust one way or the other on our browser tool bar. Now we cannot make any adjustments.

North Augusta, ON

thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you......browser toolbar wouldn't adjust it

Thanks!

Oh much better!!! Thanks

Thank you Dave :-)

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

Phew! I switched pages and all the sudden the setting of zoom was so huge it was pixlating the print! Thanks for the reset Dave. But it did not seem to reset the reply box text which is still so small I need binoculars to read what I am writing,

Gilroy (Sunset Z14), CA(Zone 9a)

Woah, thought I was seeing things. Glad it's not just my brain going all wonky....again!!!

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Much better for me, but the reply box didn't change as Zanymuse stated.
Poor Dave...

Thanks,

if anyone is having problems with small size, you can go to the view on your browser and make it bigger. that's what i just did and now it's as big as it was when dave fiddled with it. i can see it just fine.

scio, oregon, OR(Zone 8a)

I like it better smaller.

(Zone 1)

You can make it smaller or larger .... you can keep enlarging or diminishing it to suit yourself. Just go to the very top of your screen to your browser, click on view and go down and click on Make Text Smaller ... do it a few times and it might get so small that it will disappear. I wanted my text larger, so I did it twice and now it's the perfect size for my viewing!

THANK YOU. i can now see agian partially.

the reply box is still small though but at least i can read agian. Thanks

(Zone 1)

The text in the reply box will remain small until you transmit it. Then, it will show up in the larger font.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

One problem I had is, my font was already at it's largest so I couldn't change mine. I like it better this way.
