I have always gardened solo as I don't have people living around me. My best friends don't garden. Finding this site to share my little joys in gardening every day is awesome!! I have learned more from the members of this site in 2 months than I had learned in a life time. This is like having a professor around in horticulture 24-7. Thanks, Dave, for starting this garden site and kudos to all the members for contributing a wealth of knowledge.

DG has enriched my life so much!! Thank you everyone!!
Bettygail....I think we all feel the same way...we can't sing Dave's Gardens praises enough.
What forum do you frequent the most...I'm usually in the Southwest forum...and the Gourd forum...and the General discussion...and the....OH well...I'm all over! Jo
I frequent many places...AV forum, perennials, tropicals, houseplants, plant ID, annuals, container gardening and any photos of plants I can find.....glad you feel like I do about this site, the staff and the members!!
It's enriched my life too. Brought me a new friend! Hi, Jo! April 21st is first market for Earth Day and then once a week so we should be able to get together again soon!
Hey Sue...That's the day my Widowed Support Center group is going over to your neck of the woods!!
We plan to visit the Amerind Museum...then eat at some Ranch. Jo
I feel the same way as you do bettygail, I found this site about 2 years ago, and I am addicted. If I have computer problems, my computer guy knows to put me at the top of his repair list.
I have also made some very good friends here, and have met some in person at the Roundups. If you have the chance to go to a Round up, go, and put some faces with the names.
It took me many months before i could even begin to figure out how it worked....then I just got mad that I couldn't navigate my way around and called the computer tech....I have been on about 2 or 3 months but it seems like forever and I begin to believe that i really know people....have gotten together with a few.....I will try, in the future, to go to the roundups and put faces with names.....even have made good friends with people in florida...wish i weren't afraid to fly...quit that 15 years ago....................that would make a fun auto trip to Fl...
bettygail, then you could stop in Ky. and visit me. That would be so much fun. Last year's vacation was planned so I could visit some DG'ers in Massachusettes. Was great.
ALL my vacations are planned around Round Up's LOL Jo
I am still learning something new...every day on DG!!! Until you told me i didn't even know what Round Up's were.....thanks
Here is the Round Up Forum...it will tell you where all the RU's are....find one close to you...some may be listed in the Texas Gardening Forum also...Each one is Fun!! Jo

Thanks....so much!!
I'm in the same boat as you bettygail, no gardening friends=( I was so happy to find DG and all the helpful, knowledgable and enabling:LOL: members. I stumbled here after several run-ins with GardenWatchdog (that alone is worth the membership!).
What kind of run-in did you have with WatchDog??? Jo
