Chinese Food...what did your fortune cookie say?

This afternoon hubby and I dined at one of our favorite
Chinese restaurants. Our fortunes arrived, so we entertained
ourselves reading them, bought lottery tickets with the numbers
on them, and learned two new words in the language.

Since I save all of the fortunes, these would be added to it,
but hubby's fortune was humorous and different:

ASK NOT WHAT YOUR FORTUNE COOKIE CAN DO FOR YOU
BUT WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR FORTUNE COOKIE.

Different, huh?

And now for a slightly adult topic, let's not get carried away, but
in humor I mention this. A few years ago, co-workers took me out
for lunch. As they read their fortunes, they would say "in the bed"
and start laughing. I had to admit, I had never heard of this and
felt out of the loop, as everyone else seemed to know about it.

After reading one's fortune, follow up with the words
"In the bed". It makes for a humorus moment after eating, and
is generally clean enough to share with others without being too
offensive. Even my parents get a kick out of it and they now
say it when reading fortunes. How many of you have heard of that?

No not really, we just went out to the Big Shanghai the other day and I forgot mine(in the bed).LOL

A friend told me about adding the suffix "in bed" several years ago.
It does make some of them quite hilarious.

Mine last night was ..you'll see a shooting star tonight and have a good day tomorrow.. Now that I add "in bed"; it makes it much more fun.
