The screen is too narrow

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

Whenever I open a thread, it's just 3/4 of the page wide. Home page is ok. Just in the last half hour as I was on DG earlier and no probs.
Laura

A lot of people were reporting that they hated it being too wide.

It seems for some, wide is bad. For others, thin is bad. :(

I have it set to 750 pixels wide at the moment.

To paraphrase a famous golden-haired girl, I want mine just right ;o)

North Augusta, ON

i really do not think it is a DG problem, I know sometimes for me it is wide, then it is thin, then wide...multiple times during the day and I don't change anything.....maybe it's the browsers faults?? IE7 and firefox messing with things?

Alexandria, IN(Zone 6a)

I like this present size for my setting....600x800 pixels. Personally, I don't care for the fine print size...something like 800x1150 pixel size...too much squinting for me.

Dublin, CA(Zone 9a)

I wasn't noticing the wideness previously, but now I notice that the sponsored forums are very narrow (I've chosen to view forum sponsors), and the un-sponsored forums look normal width.

scio, oregon, OR(Zone 8a)

It looks like the threads are too narrow, with the advertising pushing them over to be "center stage".

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Mine are suddenly only half the page width. Sorry dont like that at all. Nothing but blank space on the other side.

Langley, WA(Zone 7b)

fancyvan, mine are the same way. I hate it. What a bunch of wasted space. And I'm right in the middle of hosting a co-op and it's making it very hard to read and keep track of all the info since everything is crammed now into more lines than it would be if it stretched the whole length of the page.

Gwen

Alright, it's kind of like doing musical chairs, but how's it now?

Looks good to me--the sponsored forums are back to their normal width now. I have never noticed the forums being too wide when everyone else was having problems so I'm not sure if that part's fixed or not.

Alexandria, IN(Zone 6a)

Hmmm...Mine are 2 inches too wide on the right now, but if that is best for most..ok

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

Been gone all day.... they're back to full screen width now. :)

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

I'm still having to run the page forward to read the lines. It's in every thread I enter.

Northern, NJ(Zone 6b)

Most of the threads are wide, which I prefer. Two recent threads on the Garden Design Forum, both posted by giancarlo are less then 1/2 the page wide.

Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

I have to scroll 2" to the right to read an entire line. I definitely don't like doing that. The print size is fine.

SW, WI(Zone 4b)

OK...I just posted on another thread about the threads being 'wide'....I just left one on this forum that was unusually 'narrow'....strange!

Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

Now the width and font size are both fine.

SW, WI(Zone 4b)

Mine, too!

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

My font size is OK but my pages are narrow...

Alexandria, IN(Zone 6a)

Fine here now!!

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)
