Would like to add plants to journals by selecting from list

I wish that when I added a plant to my journal, I didn't have to type everything in from scratch, but could select a plant from the plantfiles OR add it new. Would also be nice to then be able to edit those fields in my Journal, so if I wanted to add a variety that was just like one already in the plant files, I could select that one, then change to reflect my new variety. Maybe the journal entry could link to the plantfiles entry.

This may well already have been suggested but I couldn't find it.

You can already do that--if you go to the plant you want in Plant Files, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll see an option to add it to your journal. Once it's in the journal if you view the entry, you'll see at the bottom it will tell you that this plant is in Plant Files and there'll be a link back to it. There's a bug where every once in a while this link doesn't get made, and also if you edit the entry and change genus/species/cultivar then it'll break the link since it's no longer the same plant (you can edit things like location, comments, date, etc and the PF link will stay).
