Trade list suggestion

(Zone 5a)

Now that I have gotten used to the new trade list, I do like it better than the old, but one thing that would make it so much easier would be having the plant catagory listed. I like to try new plants, especially perennials, so when I am looking through lists, I have to go back and forth on each plant I am unfamiliar with. On days when the site or my computer is running slow, it takes forever, and it would be so much easier to just scan through.

To help others who may look at mine, I have put plant type (perennial, annual, houseplant, etc.), hardiness zone, sun requirements, and if it is drought-tolerant or moisture-loving. I don't expect everyone to go to that much trouble, or for there to be a column for each, but just to know at a glance if it is perennial, annual, houseplant or tropical would be great!

Thanks!
Gabrielle

Great suggestion! This is done.

That is GREAT!!!

Another suggestion, if it is not too much trouble, on the page that has the members with trade lists, have how many haves and wants they have. Again, the going back and forth thing. There are some that have tons of wants and not a single have.

Thanks again!

Done :)

I agree, this is great! Thanks Gabrielle and Dave.

I had a little trouble figuring out why I could see it on everyone else's trade pages, but not my own. I was going through the trading tab on top and then manage my trades. The information doesn't show up there, and I thought mine was broken. :) However, when I went into my info and see the trades JoanJ has, the information showed up that way.

I just thought I'd pass this along in case anyone else is wondering why theirs doesn't work.

Ok, fairly newbie question here . . . is there a way to sort alphabetically the member trade pages? From what I can see, it is sorted by most recently updated. If I wanted to see a particular member's trade list, is there an easier way to find it than by scrolling down the dated list?

Sorry if this has been covered somewhere else . . .

You can get to it by clicking on Home, then Member List. There you can either type in the username or click on the letter it starts with. If you choose the letter it starts with, you can alphabetize them by clicking on username. After you find the user, click on it, and if they have a trade list, it will be posted in their information. Or, if you have a DMail or posting by the person, you can get their information/trade list from that. Hope that I didn't confuse your further. Click on my name to the left and you'll see what I mean.
