Good to know since mine are in a pot and look absolutely dead. I'll keep watering and hope for a "resurrection"! I have some red ones out in the wooded area, so I'll add the ones you gave me, Sylvia, to the group. Thanks again!
Something I inherited...
No I don't. I was going to get one from you at the RU, but then my surgery happened! Maybe I can get one next spring.
Of course Sheila! Dont pout! lol Do you think I can dig it up and pot it now? I can bring to the Dallas Swap.
Pat I want some Red ones! I keep thinking about Red ones, I prefer Hot colors really!
Yeah! I dont' know if it would work or not, but if you have an extra and want to try, I won't turn it down!
You got 'em, Sylvia. When we start the lists for the fall swap, I'll put you down for some red ones. Don't let me forget!
Those lilies are nice Sylvia! Do they have a scent?
I dony know Marylee ... I never thought to smell them. I got so excited when I saw them ... I just ran and go the camera. Did you get one at the Round up? I need to Dmail Dawn and let her know I got the name of them. Just think, I would never have known what they were if not for Mitch, because all the leaves had dissapeared.
No I didn't get one. Do they need full sun or pm shade?
No scent, very nice.. and their other name is Bare Naked Ladies..
ummm..
anyway very nice plant but it take 1-3 years after you move a bulb for it to bloom again. I traded several of these last year at the Dallas swap I have no idea to whom but it was a bunch that was right in the way of a path.
A great plant to have in the garden, and an old standby too.
Resurrection.....Bare Naked Ladies....??? Now that is two ends of the spectrum! LOL!
Sheila behave! Well i guess I wont be moving the little four I got left. If I had known I would not have given so many away. My neighbor said she never saw thme bloom before. I think it was that whole bag of Dutch Bulb fertilizer Marie's husband poured on them. When the leaves dissapeared I thought maybe too much was poured on them and it burned the roots.
ummm I have mune planted with Red Neck Lupines....
Mitch you can grow Lupines? i didnt think anyone here in this area could grow Lupines. There is a thread going on about that right now.
You can grow some native Lupines (Bluebonnets and the like)the tall lupines you cannot grow here.
