Starlight: Classic Viburnum's list is in the 2nd post on this thread. they are in Nebraska (?) as I remember, so some of their plants are not going to be adapted to Alabama. Kevin, post above, says Woodlander's in S.C. has viburnums more adaptable to the South. It is probably a waste of money, not to research the Zone-worthyness of the plant before you buy. You can email Classic Viburnum though their listing in Watch Dog. Same for Woodlanders. Also, you can scan the library at Monrovia.com. This will give you zone information. Once you decide what you want to buy, you should find out if the plant needs a pollinator. This is just a summary of what has been said in this thread so far - - - inso far as I understand it.
Learn about Viburnums
StarlightStarbright:
Check dmail.
Well I ordered 66 viburnums from Gary, that is going to have to do for this year. I hope the deer don't eat them all -- haven't got the deer fence up yet and won't till the fall. I am still looking for V. rufidulum after Kevin's recommendations, also V. ichangense from my own observation.
But I am just sorry, those plants are going to have to wait till next year.
Got 1000+ perennial plugs via UPS today.
Oh brother......
