Good morning, my name is Pat. I am a compulsive hoarder.
I received the following information in a group mailout for one of the groups at work in which I am active. I thought some of you might want to read it, since it seems so many of us are compulsive LOL. I'm okay with my 'gardening' compulsion, but I find it spills over into other areas of my life. No harm intended, just thinking someone REALLY might want/need it:

Hoarding Book - 'Built in Treasures'
Sounds interesting, let us know how it is. I have a problem with hoarding books (among other things) - no library in my town so I have to shell out the money for them. If you find it helpful I may have to add another book to my collection.
I always get the 'used' books. Two of the three I bought cost about $5.00
Another great place for inexpensive and hard to find books is abebooks.com. I just know that once they enter my house, they're not very likely to leave. I've been trying to be more picky about the ones I buy so I don't add to my clutter problem. However, a book to help me get rid of things I don't need may well be worth the space it takes up - otherwise I'll just have to make some more shelves.
Well, there was something wrong with the 'payment method' I chose, so I decided just to leave it along. I will not be receiving them... I did good with the clutter in my front yard this weekend. I got rid of a 50+ year old cultivator that my dad used when I was little bitty. I also threw away some chatsky concrete pots that were broken. I cleaned out my front flower bed, dug up five dead azaleas and planted more shrubs and flowers; and the flowerbed near the mailbox looks so much better now! I feel a lot better about my front yard :)
