Cracklin' Rose, going on it's 3rd year in this location with morning sun, never been outside. Already cut and rooted one long stem, almost time for another but I always hesitate.

It's just WAY too quiet over her in Begonias!
I did find one picture of mine from the day it arrived (ebay). The large leaves are gone but oodles of little ones are coming on. Anyway you can see the big streaked one in the left back corner is Susie's Curl.
Your Cracklin Rosie looks very good. My canes for the most part are the sickest except Irene Nuss and Guy Savard. My Sir John Falstaff has one old leaf left and several new ones. I noticed that Mary Bucholtz looks very similar to Sir John. Oh well. River Nile has to be one of the best around and so easy to propagate. Joe Hayden is another very easy one to start.
I posted a picture of Sir John here:

The rex begonias are totally new to me....only have a few, but anxious to read up and find out how to propagate..thanks for all these pictures you all are sharing with us.
WOW Sue, great begonias even though I think it is a tad rude to show the backside of your boyfriend as pretty as it may be.
Sir John is sure pretty! My counter looks like that too hcmcdole, a bunch of 4 inch begonias. LOL
LOL Kell, didn't even catch how that one posted!
He is gorgoeus then too. I think I may need this one!
I'm so excited. My mother passed away and one of the only things I wanted from her estate was a begonia plant(Lucerne) we have passed back and forth for nearly 25 years . I had moved and no one took care of it for many, many months after her death. My brother said it was dead, all leaves had dropped off and stems were brittle...... but I asked him to bring it to me anyway during his visit. I cut back the stems, gave it a watering and hoped for the best. That was about one month ago and it seems to be getting a side shoot. Fingers crossed it will flurish once again......
Here is how easy Lucerna and other canes are to grow. I had some old canes that I discarded in the fall but at the last moment before freezing weather, I rescued them. I laid them in an aluminum serving pan horizontally and water every two weeks sparingly since there are no drainage holes. Lucerna is on the left and I think Mary Ann Flunker on the right.
There may be a little blur due to shooting through vinyl sheeting (just added yesterday).
Yours are coming along hcmcdole. I'm wondering if I should give it some humidity somehow. What do you think??
It won't hurt to give it some humidity. Just let it dry out a little between waterings and it should do fine.
Thanks!!!!!
