I'm so excited. My mother passed away and one of the only things I wanted from her estate was a begonia plant(Lucerne) we have passed back and forth for nearly 25 years . I had moved and no one took care of it for many, many months after her death. My brother said it was dead, all leaves had dropped off and stems were brittle...... but I asked him to bring it to me anyway during his visit. I cut back the stems, gave it a watering and hoped for the best. That was about one month ago and it seems to be getting a side shoot. Fingers crossed it will flurish once again......
