Did DG just hiccup? Here are the error messages I got when trying to get on DG.

Welcome home, begoniacrazii!

Database error: Invalid SQL: select date from thread_hits where user = 'begoniacrazii' and tid = '689627'
MySQL Error: 1053 (Server shutdown in progress)
Session halted.

*** Second one says

Database error: connect to host king failed
MySQL Error: ()
Session halted.

The data center workers are doing work on a server adjacent to mine at the data center and they accidentally unplugged my master database server. :-(

I sent a sternly worded message to the owner of the data center. My sense of humor ends when people start unplugging my servers with no warning...

Dave could you repeat that message to my cable provider? (suddenlink. net) They have a way of interrupting service at the least inopportune moment. I'm getting ready to switch to sat. service.

A regular business would sue over "lost revenue" due to accidental down-time. There should be some "I make it right" by the data center.

hiya dave,

Could you write the same "sternly" toned message to my insurance underwriter? I'm thinking that the ranch is paying for orthodonture for the offspring of the Board of Directors.....I didn't actually know that "umbrella policy" meant I needed an umbrella to protect myself from the rain of paper...lol.

LOL. I need to create a "Sternly Worded Letter" generator. Just plug in the names and it'll automatically return a sternly worded note! :)
