Event Description: Join us for our 31st annual AVSA judged show and sale - A Violet Paradise ! This event will be held at the Farm Bureau in Valrico located at the corner of Hwy 60 and Mulrennan Rd. As always there will be knowledgeable members on hand to help you with any questions you may have about growing our favorite houseplant. Enjoy the beautiful show plants and design entries, while you shop for violets as well as other gesneriads and purchase all your potting supplies. Event dates & time: Saturday Feb. 24th - Plant sale tables open at 9 a.m. The show floor opens at 11 am till 5. Sunday Feb. 25th the show and sale hours are from 10-4. Free parking, free admission.

I definitely will! The Tampa AV folks are generally at the USF plant festivals I go to, and they always have a great selection. Their members are great and will talk to you forever on how to care for gesneriads.
Sounds like fun! I would love to go to a show/sale just to buy gessies and learn more..Theres nothing close to me.Thats the sad part about living in the country:)
