This cute little thing is my grandbaby. Last weekend we worked together on starting four different types of seeds. Yesterday I showed her that one of them had germinated and pointed out the small green seedlings. I told her that these were the "shooting stars" that we started.
She looks at me and says "grandma...those are going to smell like coconut, right?!"
I guess I was amazed...that we started four types of flowers from seed and she remembers the comment I made about these nemesia smelling like coconut!
If I leave any legacy behind, it will be that she carries on my love of gardening! (which at the young age of three, she shows much promise)

My little seed starter!
Your grand daughter is very pretty. I'm sure that she will always remember gardening with grandma. I have nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren and only one of them seems to have any interest in gardening.
She's adorable, and obviously very smart! I hope she does continue to like gardening. You can always use willing help, right? :)
I couldn't help but notice the blocks she's playing with. I used to have some like that when I was little, and that was a LONG time ago. Are they old or do they sell them again? I sat and looked at the picture of your granddaughter and those blocks and really took a trip down memory lane. Thank you for that.
