I think there is a forum just for testing out things. The pictures are kind of small. Daves usually will shrink a large one down before it is posted, I think.

Windy these are free screen savers I was just playing around to see if I could capture the images.

They do have some beautiful pictures in them now don't they.

Yes I'm bored and winter can end now. They have 4 animated wall papers for the computer, I liked the water fall myself. But an animated wall paper could be distracting.

Winter can end now? I AGREE!!!!! And isn't that funny coming from 2 Texans? But I'm from the north and moved here for a reason...and Texas isn't supposed to be cold. =( Did have a rose appear after our "artic blast" left and it warmed up really well...now back to cold....

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

I was raised in the Panhandle so the very cold is not unusual especially with nothing to block that north wind. I've lost a couple of friends who got caught out in that weather. Back in 75 the day before my wedding it was 80 by the next morning it was a full blown blizzard. Thats Texas I guess.

So you had a blizzard on your wedding day? What month of the year was that? I lived in Fort Worth for a while and was there from 76 until 1980. We moved from Texas to North Dakota in February, about a 70 degree difference. 35 above to 35 below. lol Only the military would do that to a family.
I don't like the extreme zones with only one season, though. I prefer two or three seasons and can skip winter altogether.
I like looking at my wallpaper. It is a picture of my side front yard in fall with my little maple tree in transition.Any pictures of a yard with my flowers growing instead of the stark contrast of the same area in winter. YUK!

If you are like me you have moved everything to the sides so the whole face will show. I don't know why you are looking for anything more beautiful, I think you have found it.

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

Well of course. You like that pic heres my one and only granddaughter.

Guess who has granddad wrapped around her little finger and twists him inside out.

You should make a collage. I don't have any grandchildren as my only son and child is not cooperating. LOL He remains unattached at nearly 40.
But I have plenty of pictures on my refrigerator of my grand neices and nephews.LOL! Ah, the innocence of youth.

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

My eldest is the same way. I keep reminding him that his purpose in my creating him was to give me grandkids that I can steal and raise as my own. LOL
