Articles on Gardens.com

Most of you have seen our articles at Gardens.com. You can see the complete list of them here:

http://gardens.com/learn/viewby.php?filter=2

I am getting ready to include these articles on DG and open it up so that ANYONE can submit an article into the system. All the articles submitted will appear on DG, and then some of them will be selected to appear at Gardens.com.

Both individuals, as well as companies, are welcome to submit articles for inclusion. So far, we've had articles published by:

Annie's Annuals
Gardener's Supply
Bluestone Perennials

paulgrow
kathleen
tcfromky
horseshoe

I'd love to get more people involved in writing and submitting articles. They can be about anything related to gardening. If you are interested, please dmail me or reply here!

Great idea!

C'mon Folks...I'm sure there is plenty to write about (and I'll bet some hidden talent!).

Looking forward to submissions!

Great Idea BUT the articles are written so small I can read them :((
I like it here on DG's where the writing is large print.

You can read the articles at DG, too. :) Just click on the "Articles" tab at the top of this page.

(Allison, you can increase your text size. Not sure what OS you have but for me if you click on "View" at the top of your page, then scroll down to "Text" you can choose "Increase" and your text will get larger.)

Dave, thanks. Looking forward to more submissions, even hope I take the time to offer another, too!

I did go to them from thread above ""Articles" tab at the top of this page.
I have them on largest print still so small.
Pnly thing I can do is copy and past it here like where I'm typing , read it, then delete it.
It's hard with old eye and bed bound I'm far away from the screen.
I like when articles are written in large type.

Copy, enlarge, and paste. Sounds like you found a way for tired eyes to read them, Allison. I guess you could also copy and paste them to a Word file, enlarge them big enough to read, and if you wanted to refer back to them later you can always save your Word file. (Or am I encouraging plagiarism, Dave?)

None-the-less, enjoy the reading.

By the way, glad you posted on fermenting tomato seeds, Dave. Way to go! Get 'em hooked on seed-saving!

I used the same font as the rest of the site, actually. See the attached screenshot - is this also what your screen looks like?

Thanks Shoe, I knew you'd like it. :) The funny part is that I took those pictures and wrote most of the article in the year 2001!

When I type right here my typing is large when I moused on your posting the writing is small ???

Does it look the same as the picture I posted in my previous reply here?

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

No writing in the picture is at least half the size of what I am typing now . Or do you see my typing different ?

No, it looks the same as all the other posts... Everything here has the same font size.

Allison, you might be happier using a better web browser. You can easily download firefox at http://www.getfirefox.com/ It's a LOT better than IE... It might solve your font issues!

Shoe, thanks. I didn't know how to increase font size before.

Andy P...you're welcome. And by the way, I learned that tip on DG! Yay!

And ditto what Dave said, Allison. Firefox is well worth the download. Lots of nice features and easy to use.
