Hey, Scott - I enjoyed your pictures of Dawes. I was just looking up the lacebark pine (pinus bungeana) in the plantfiles and saw your photo of them, which led me to your member page and to this thread. Pleased to make your acquaintance! We live near Dawes and it is a treasure, nomatter the season. It's probably our favorite place, anywhere. We have our special trees we know and love and mourn their loss when they're taken by lightning, ice or disease.
