comment on viewing the site on a cell phone

I recently got one of those pda/data phone thingies, and I've been checking out my usual haunts on this tiny little screen. DG is turning out to be pretty easy to get around, and quite a few of my recent posts have been made from my phone. Not sure if it's purposely styled that way, but anyway, it's working. Thanks!

I've wondered about that. Thanks for the report. I'm going to officially add one to my Valentines, Birthday, Christmas, Just because you love me list. :) I always lug a laptop around with me, but can't always get a connection. What model did you get?

Well, I have a blackberry because of work. Quite honestly, the screen and keyboard on the Pearl are tiny... But I opted for the smaller size. If I need to, I can pull out the laptop. I would definitely recommend trying them out before you choose - make sure you can read the screen and type. (Thumb-typing takes some getting used to, but at least make sure your thumbs can hit the right key.)

When you browse on these things, you quickly realize that a lot of sites are impossible.

Hmmm... Thanks. I think I need to get to a store and try some different ones out prior to choosing which to add to my list.

The newly released (or soon to be released?) Apple iPhone looks pretty cool, a bit expensive and it's only available if you get your cell phone service through Cingular (who I think was just bought by AT&T?) but an article I read about it made it sound like it really has the best internet-on-a-cell phone experience (not to mention it plays music and probably videos and is a good phone too)
