It does not have Park in its name. It is government-owned land that is open to public.

Anybody remember maybe fifteen years ago when a twenty year drought ended in California, and National Geographic had these aerial pictures where there were miles and miles of California Poppies? I wonder if it's the same place.

It could have been there, but it more likely was the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve and environs. It has more poppies and fewer other flowers. Remember this picture from a couple threads back? This was in that area though not in the Reserve.

Most of the Carrizo Plain has yellow flowers.

Kelli, has every body quit playing? I just got back! I'm sorry I took so long. This is the 3rd mother board that we have gotten from Dell & it actually works! The only thing I can say is that their "service after the sale" lacks a WHOLE lot!
