I just hope those big fires come to an end soon in the land down under!
Let's pray for the Australian beautiful wilderness to be saved from those fires!
Fire
Yes, Gustichock, those Australian fires are terrible and I hope they get the upperhand on them soon, but wildfires are common during the hot, dry Aussie summers, much as they are here in the US. Unfortunately, many of these fires cannot be prevented since they are naturally ignited, usually by lightning.
Are the fires still buring down under? That is so sad. We live in a forest and our biggest worry during a hot dry summer is that someone will be driving along the road, throw out a cig. and it will ignite our woods on fire. We have so much wildlife around here. We live so far from town that by the time the firemen got here it would all be over but the shouting. LIZ
You are right, Siskiyou! I understand that sometimes it all happens for a reason and everything here in this world has to pass through the "natural equilibrium". It happens in California and so in many different parts of the world. I'm just concerned about the wildlife. I've been in big forestal fires and to see all kind of creatures running for their life in any direction is very shocking too.
I don't know! Eventually life will come out again but the reason I've posted this is because its sad to see a whole ecosystem get burnt to ashes.
Take care and thanks for sharing your thougts! (you too LC2sgarden)
Gus.
