MP3player questions

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

I hope this is ok to post this here.

I'm looking for a MP3 player that also has a radio . I haven't a clue as to where to start looking. OUr walmart was completely out of mp3 players.

Anybody out there have one that has a radio on theirs too. if so what kind is it?

WOW
I have no idea. I love my iPod. Downloading songs is so so easy. It is amazing. But it doesn't have a radio, although I cna see why you would want one.
I joined a gym, ( scary) and they have televisions in there but with no sound. You can tune into 88.3 or something on a radio to hear one of the shows, but I don't have a radio, so I am stuck reading the closed captioning or just listening to the iPod.
Sorry I am no help. Try to google it.

I know this is silly, but you got me looking and I just ordered this one after scouring the internet. $59.99 2gb and plays radio :) Also it has a slot for a mini memory card and you can add an additional 1gb or 2gb ($69) of memory to it. So you wind up with 4gb for $130 vs. $190 for a 4gb ipod with no radio. Just not as 'cute'.

You can also buy a radio attachment for an mp3 player without a built-in radio.

I got an Ipod for Christmas and was so happy with it, that is until my DH told me that all the music services that we subscribe to would not allow us to put music on it unless we paid 99 cents per song. I had about 600 songs in my personal library and they were easy to load. But all of the things that I had downloaded in Rhapsody could not be put on there. Something about the Digital Rights Management being incompatible with the Ipod. So he did some research on them and found that the best one to buy was the Creative Zen. We traded in the Ipod and bought that and we have been so happy with it. I have my favorite movies on it, tons of my favorite photos and a couple thousand songs. Plus the Zen has a built in FM radio. This is just my two cents worth but I hope it is helpful.

One isn't necessarily limited .. to downloading strictly from the music sites! I'm certain that many brands/models allow you to add music from CDs, etc. to the MP3's - photos, videos, in addition to audio: even sharing music between same-brands/models (with limitations, of course).

And available from less than 1 GB storage to 120 (Hard Drive) + GB's !!
