It sounds simple, and is, once you have everything set up.
One of Americas' Favorite Birds
He has fattened up a good bit since the mating season ended. 4 broods this summer.
What a trouper!
Gotta, love those Cardinals, they have such dignity.
While they are not as entertaining as the Jays, they are just nice, likeable birds.
I'm loving the ardinal photos!
My favorite bird is usually the one I'm looking at at the moment lol!
Right on Lily! The one I am looking at, at the moment...well put! gardenpom..very nice pic there.. If you post a Jay thread I will sure come see you there.
I am going to post a not-so-great pic of the cardinal up there in the tree I last posted. He is taking flight to watch me refil the seed trays in my back yard. What is visible in the photo is how when he launches off the branch the first flap is assisted by a fully flared tail..with the wings dipping way lower to get his lift going.
ready for take-off......I'll launch a Jay forum tonight if no one else beats me to it! Have to go to work, hope everyone has a great day on the bird forum!
Great Cardinal photos! Thanks for sharing.
Wow! Awesome shots Donna....I especially love the second one.
I sure miss my old home :-(. I got really great shots there and had over 90 spieces of birds come through each year during migration. Birding here in the country is not so great and hard to get pics as I really have no place to get close without scaring them. The yard is way to big and open
I am in awe of such incredible pictures - I sure have a lot to learn!!!
Great shot Trois!
Nice catch trois!
Thanks, Marilyn and pelletory.
what a beautiful shot Trois
Thanks DonnaB. Got lucky.
Nice gardenpom!
Trois~ I set that cool flared wing Cardinal shot as a wallpaper! Very good pic!!
Luck of the draw.
Tremendous shots Trois!! I need to convence the DH to set up a tri-pod and get a remote for his camera. He has a super camera, but hasn't had time to really get to take time to see what it can do. I am after him to retire when I do next year, and he even mentioned he might retire this summer! I doubt he will do it this year but at least he is considering it.
It will be easy to get hooked once you start with the remote. Completely different experience.
Yes Trois, I can imagine!
He really pops in that last picture...great photos.
Great 'mug'shots Trois! (I think that one is a female..)
