Happy New Year from Alaska! It is only 6pm on New Year's Eve here now, but being such a worldy bunch, one man's day is another man's night. It's already quite dark here, and there is snow right outside my window sitting on the roof. We are having a snowy winter. I've just filled the old claw foot tub with bubbly water (not champagne) and after our bath, we're having shrimp salads and a cocktail or two. We're getting too old and too smart to venture out of the house. A couple years ago, we decided to let our inhabitions down and walk around the house naked, and we did. Of course, we wore our boots because it was cold out there! We only walked around it twice.
