We have 3 tornadoes with one on the ground about 13 miles from here heading our way so they say.
Must be Texas!

Are you sure its Winter?
Well its raining cats and dogs outside with hail and a tornado just to the southwest that has been touching down off and on for the last 30 minutes or so. Big hail now yeh haw.
Be safe! Let us know how you fare when it's all over. We get many tornados here, too.
I grew up with the things just watch your barometer is all.
Don
Well the tornado is on the ground 7 miles over to the southeast of here dodged another one. Wish I had a nickel for every one I've been through I would be able to afford high speed internet. LOL

I need some help if there is anyone on DG from the Texas Panhandle area. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the town up north of Amarillo that gets the tornadoes thru it regular as clock work. I remember being told the story when I was a kid that when that town was founded the Indians laughed at the folks founding it and they even gave the town the Indian name for that area. It wasn't until sometime later that it was found out the Indian word meant tornadoes. Does anybody know it? I guess I should look it up on the map, crying shame I don't remember it I grew up in the Panhandle, guess it explains why I can be a little ornery sometimes, most folks up there can be pretty independent.
