The latest news was from this year, I read that they were away and sent in an order in late July, mmmm, still waiting, still getting all my emails ignored.
Thanks Mike for trying to chase it up for me your end, I really appreciate it as I have said, I am already resigned to the fact that I will never see the seeds or my money again.

Of course heheh. Just trying to ensure we are not jumping to conclusions. I'm taking up annettes case so hopefully i'll have some news for everyone sometime. I've got a few bits of info but nothing concrete i'm willing to print yet.

I did find out last night that they advertise there garden as open to the public! (with phone number and address listed) Whats that all about?

Wish there was the UK equivalent of the US' BBB nearby them. Might be able to shed some light. Or a city official. Maybe there is another garden center there with a mgr. who could give us the scoop. Maybe *someone* there could go over to the address and check it out. ......would placing a random call to a random party on the same street be too nutso to try?

I've made a few calls. Worst comes to worst i'll set up a debt collection thread and charge you all 10% to collect your rmissing cash. Hey i could make some cash out of this.. hehehe (only joking before someone calls me sick)
If it wasn't so far i would call round and ask a few questions. I'd even offer to help them sort out there business, as i think the model they have has a sound footing just needs a bit of organisation and procedures putting in place. Possibly need to cut costs and offer some more profitable lines.
Mind you can't get much more profitable than not buying the stamps in the first place.

The US institution referred to in my post as the BBB is known by its full name "The Better Business Bureau." Don't know what "real power" they have, but I listen to what they have to say.

Sounds like trading standards. They have difficulty implementing there powers as bureacratic paper work takes to long to catch real criminals. they have better luck against the big guys that can't close down and move on overnight.
Anyway so far my search has come up blank
These guys http://www.fritillaria.org.uk/ replied to my query and say they where still going last they new but he's going to check with his member to see if anyone knows anything.
A couple of Top guys from T&M seeds are still asking people they know but T&M don't do business with them so can't shed any light so far.
Still a few more contacts to get back to me. I'll keep trying.

Funny thing is that I have spoken to them.
They didn't say they were NOT doing business.
They DID say they would put me an extra packet of seeds in.
They didn't say they had SENT the seeds in the first place, didn't even go to check if they had.
They didn't SOUND at all apologetic, nor did they say anything to indicate they were SORRY I had not got my seeds.
They did NOT offer an explanation as to why they had not answered my emails.
They did not acknowledge having heard from Paypal, I told them they should have heard from them and I had NOT been contacted by them. NEITHER did they say they had NOT heard from Paypal. It was IGNORED.
I STILL DO NOT HAVE ANY SEEDS. No urgency there then.

First to find someone that knows them and can ask them as a friend to sort it out.
If not its a phone call.
Last but not least we resort to scare tactics. But that means going down there. And i have bigger fish to cook.

The fact that you've spoken to them proves that they are not travelling, so that excuse can be canceled. The fact that they do not apologize or give any explanation about not answering your e-mails and not sending the seeds proves that they are bad willing, insensitive, rude and uncourteous.
Hope that you will still get your seeds!
It is important not to let it go, also for the sake of other victims.

I doubt they will see it unless they log onto there internet site.
We could do with checking that theory by asking someone who hasn't emailed them to ask them a question they might want to answer. Like asking them if they can take open cheques in dollars or something..... greed may get the better of them and help break the silence.
If they still don't answer then maybe they read this or maybe they don't log on!
bonitin, you got it! His wife answered then handed me over to Mr Archibald, neither of them sounded like they cared.
I would have thought if they cared about their customers and their reputation they would have put the seeds in the post at least the next day, if not the same day. I phoned last Wednesday before midday, that is 4 days it could have been delivered if posted on Wednesday.
Even if I get the seeds now I will always be reminded of the trouble they have caused me. I did send an email to BBC Watchdog about it, who knows, I may just hear from them!
I will follow it through, I am stubborn! I may not get the seeds or my money back, but it won't be from lack of trying and at least, (hopefully) a few others will be spared. I just wish I knew how many people have suffered the same, it's very difficult to get reuslts unless others complain to the proper places too.
MIke, they haven't answered my emails and I didn't use the website form, it would be a miracle if they answered bonitin's emails!
I also think they log on at least once a week, it was a week later that I received my (one and only) email in the first place.

bonitin, I replied from the email they sent me to thank me for my order and to tell me they would send the seeds 'next week'.

Another good contact got back to me earlier today who said he'd never heard of them, but didn't tend to know seed companies aswell as plant nurseries.
Scams cost £3.5 billion a year (according to watchdog) its on telly now! heheh
