American Girl magazine is pretty good, too (it's geared more toward the 8-10 year olds, but my 11 year old loves hers, and I feel it's still very age-appropriate for her.)

Deb.. It depends on what ind of things she is into.. Is she a girly girl or a tomboy? My daughter gets ASK magazine which she really enjoys

My daughter loved the american Girl magazines, too. She's is 13 now and moved on to horse magazines.

Thanks for all your input. I ordered Discovery Girl's for her this Christmas. Next year I may place an order for one of the others mentioned.
