I know this is a poor picture for such a thing to ask. But let me see if anyone can point out a butterfly in this picture. Looking out of the upstairs window towards the west this is the view - of another old building in the background where the Rev. GW Sawday who was a Missionary a hundred years ago lived there. It's called the Sawday House.
Spot the butterfly here?
I love the picture--the lovely old building and the flowers. What a nice view you have. I am sorry to say that I cannot see a butterfly, but my eyes are old.
Thanks.
Dinu i didnt see it either-i thought i did several times but i really dont see it-lots of flowers!!!
The butterfly "appears" to be on the somewhat lower lefthand side - I think - but my eyes are old too....
Ann
I don't have a clue...can you blow this up about 100 times ?
Sorry it has been such a trouble. The butterfly is above the flowers and the background is not flowers. It was a black and cream coloured b'fly. I know even if the image is magnified, it is not clearly visible, but I can point it out - because as soon as I finished the click, I saw this flying away.
Sorry. Still can't see it. Still a nice picture, though.
I'll take your word on that, this is hurting my eyes...lol
On the left side right next to the house. Almost looks like a small extension from the lowest roofline?
I wondered about that same spot, but could not convince myself. Is that it?
Time to give clue: The butterfly has a background of the tiles.
Is it right above the tile roof on the second story, or is that a spot on my screen ? Hum, must clean this thing!
Sorry, no. It could be really a spot there.
I think it is out of the Mothman Chronicles.
If you have the Accessibility accessories installed on Windows, there is a magnifier available.
There is a blurry area right above the tiles on the lower story, right window, where it looks like the pixels have been smoothed and blurred. The blurred area extends somewhat over the tiles, and between the two wires/lines. My suspicion is what you are saying is a butterfly is this blur.
You are very very close to it... I'd say ON it! Look again on the line separating the second and third row of the tiles.
Unfortunately, I was using a lower resolution setting last week due to the low capacity (16MB) of my only picture card and uploading was some days away. So to accommodate more pictures, I had that setting.
On the first floor, tile roof on the right, at the border between the bottom and second row of tiles, below the blue thing on the second floor and just a tad bit to the left - there is an irregularity in the photo. Is that it?
OK. I'm giving up.
Cut the picture into 4 equal squares. Take the bottom right piece. Look at the top left of this where you see the tiled portion (which is actually above a window). Here a blur is seen cutting the second and third row of tiled line. This IS the spot which I meant. I knew this is a bad enough picture for easy looking. Am sorry for straining a few eyes there.
