Oh my, is there any way I can have this thread pulled? I really didn't intend to cause any problems and I hate to see this thread when I sign onto Dave's.

We could just delete all the posts from the 21st and 22nd by editing them, and then the discussion of the plant itself could remain on this thread.... I'd like to see the thread remain and just have the O/T stuff edited out.

:-)

I wrote and got more information about this wonderful Russian plant ! I sent a picture to the Hybridizer and person who did all the information, translation of Russian plants for First Class ! She doanted leaves at conventions auctions ! Where Bluebirds and others bought them !
She said "
" You should understand that all the Russian hybridizers grow their plants in their apartments and do not have enough space. So all of them use smaller than 4 inch pots and even large standards usually grow as standard plants. American growers often use bigger pots growing plants for shows. Elena Korshunova hybridizes big plants with big flowers. So some of her hybrids could grow as large standards in bigger pots. If there will be more growers who feel that the description in the First Class must be changed please let me know. I will contact the hybridizer"

For more and the emails she sent me and her email address if you have questions about growing Russians plants she is happy to help !
