It is a lot like the furcraea but it will be hardy here. Their aspidisteras are pricey but every one I have bought from them has done very well in the garden.
I plan on attending their propagation class in June, I can pick stuff up then. They are about 4 1/2 hours from here.
One of the aspidisteras I got from them even bloomed. I had no idea they had flowers.
