Bookworm New Book Thumbnail

Beautiful, BC(Zone 8b)

Is it possible to display a thumbnail image of new books added to the main Bookworm page?

I wonder if we combined "new books" and "new ratings" and just have the 10 (or whatever) most recent additions?

Terry - you are workin' Dave too hard, give him a break for a week or two, even if he does not feel better - I will.

Chuckle...Dave has his own schedule and pace he chooses to keep - when he's on a roll, a lot of things get done in a hurry. I tend to be the same way, which works out pretty well most of the time.

And anyway, I'm too far away to pop over in person and make him knock off for a while ;o)

Terry - you are a darlin' so have a good eve or two or three etc. I'm gonna cook up some shrimp you are welcome to come partake if you care too.

Is this possible?

If I understand you correctly, you are asking for a list of the most recently added books? I've added this.

Thanks Dave. I was just wondering if the thumbnail picture of the book can automatically come up beside the name of the book. Thanks.

Ahh, I'm afraid not. We have little control over those thumbnails because they are served from Amazon.com's servers.

Dave,

Thanks for adding the "Most recently added books" but 2 of the 3 under my ID were not added by me.

What I meant by the thumbnail was more the image by amazon.com generated by the ISBN just as it comes up in the individual book without alteration. It would also improve amazon.com's exposure of the books by having the newest, latest books showcased on the front page of Bookworm that is a link.

Thanks,
growin

Hmmm. If that could be done, I'd vote to take away the "who" and place the thumbnail there, or to the left of the book title (for the most-recent books added.) For the most recent reviews.....I dunno. Would people prefer to see who reviewed the book, or a thumbnail of the book cover?

agree, doesn't matter too much who added it but, as they say, "a picture says a thousand words". It's always nice to be made aware of a new book recently published but the image sticks in my head more than the title. Different editions and simular titled books typically have different covers which I remember more than the title. Thanks for still thinkin' about this.
