PF"s

Haven't figured out what a PF is. Anyway, when I try to download those PF's it always says NOT FOUND. What gives?

I'm really not at all sure what you're experiencing. Could you be more specific? Maybe also give my directions that I could follow that would enable me to produce the same result, if possible.

OK, Dave. On PF Forum there are a flock of new pictures. I was trying to enlarge as usual to see them. When what was supposed to be the enlarged picture, instead comes up the header NOT FOUND. Frustrating or maybe I'm just having a senior moment(s).

If so, which picture are you clicking on that then gives the NOT FOUND message?

I'm getting the same glitch. Also, three of the plants that I entered into PF keep showing up on my 'thread watcher' but when I click them, I get the 404 message AND then when I reload my home page, there they are again.
ALSO all my most recent entries (photos) into PF are not showing up on their respective pages, BUT if you click an existing photo, then it shows up. We had that glitch a while back if I recall.

These show up under photos I've entered on my home page but when you click the PF link, they're not there.

Here's another example, http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/116865/index.html you can see Eric's image but mine does not show up until you click his - then you can see mine.

On the first page under my "watched" threads is the header DG Forums (or some such title) and then all the fPF forums. I click on the whatever it is in the column next to PF on the name of the PF and come up w/NOT Found as I said.

Ummmm, welll......it was probably me. I set up photos to release for tomorrow already - and we use this feature so infrequently, I keep forgetting, but I think there is a glitch in the associated forum threads.

Thanks to Dave and Terry for "fixing" this. I don't know much about computers except how to punch some keys, etc. and what I want to happen, happens. (I don't know how the radio or tv works either but I know how to use those.) So when stuff doesn't happen the way it always has I blame myself for punching something wrong and I go ape, I guess. Sure am glad I didn't do anything wrong and the glitch was fixed. Don't like weird things happening on 'puter.

Spoke too soon. Tried clicking on new posts of PFs - comes back w/NOT FOUND. Think I will stay away from all that for right now - my nerves can't take it.

This problem should actually be resolved by 3:23pm ET today.

well yes and no. The photos still are not showing up on the PF (sample) http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/145220/index.html though they show up on my home page when I click plants or images. But the links that 'wont go away' as mentioned above are fixed.
no more 404 error messages.

Well, I "guess" it's solved but I no longer have that long list of PFs . Oh well, said the fox, they're probably sour anyway........

Ann--I don't understand what you mean by not having the long list of PF's...I went to the PF Pictures forum which is where I think you were looking based on previous posts, and there are tons of pictures there. New ones get added every day, so if you're looking for the specific pics you were trying to look at earlier, you may need to scroll down a ways or go to the second page but I'm sure they're still there somewhere, just farther down the list if new pictures have been added since these problems started. Or are you looking at something else?

maybe it's that there are PF photos missing from PF. for example. if you go to this PF http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/145386/index.html there are no photos, but if you look at the photos that I posted for that thread http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/133002/ , that were released yesterday, you can see them, so there's some kind of glitch. Also, when I created three new PF's yesterday, they kept showing up in my 'thread watcher' area of my home page, but when you click the link you get a 404 error.

ok, never mind LOL, Kell just suggested that I click 'Live view' and that brings up the photos now.
I dont understand the 'live view' thing Dave? What is that for?
