Such great caring People on DG

Pleasureville, KY(Zone 6a)

I have had the most uplifting experience in the last 24 hours. My beloved Jack Russell Terrier was attacked in our own yard by a neighbors dog last night, and with the help of a very dedicated vet, our Mr. B is laying at my feet as I type this. Just wanted you to know that I have been sent messages, by people on the pet forum, and the coffee...and folks, thread, Parking Lot Forum, sending best wishes, and prayers and thoughts.

Just wanted to let you know that I think these are the best people on the planet, Dave's Garden people.

Hugs, and thanks for all the well wishes I have received.

I agree. I am suffering through the loss of my best buddy today, and have received an outpouring of love, affection, understanding and support.

DG people are the best!

Oh JoanJ, sorry your outcome wasn't as good as ours. I am sending long hugs to you. Sure hope that your heart heals soon. Just remember the good times, and don't try to replace your pet, as there are no replacements, only new additions. Crying for you here.

I am so sorry for both of you. How awful!

defoe, I am so happy to hear that your doggie was able to be saved. How horrible that he was not safe in his own yard. Irresponsible pet owners tick me off! I hope he is good as new and feels safe after this.

Joan, I am really sorry to hear about your fur baby. It's never a good time to lose a pet but I know you could do without the added stress and sadness right now. :(

I missed your other posts but both of you are very much in my thoughts.

Thanks badseed. I am amazed what 24 hours have done for Mr B. Going from lifeless state to being able to be up and about, and going out to do his business. Watered every tree in the yard this morning, I guess making up for what he didn't get to do yesterday.
