Here's an idea... is there a place on DG for temporarily storing files? Like if we wanted to share documents, or music, or photos that we didn't want to put up in a forum...so we could say "Hey! check out my resume on davesgarden.com!" (not to suggest I'm job-hunting, because I'm not, but it was the best example I could come up with except for "favorite mp3s loaded here")

It could be a temporary-drop spot, maybe expiring after 7 days or something, so we didn't take up too much disk space, or so DG didn't turn into a "music sharing hotspot".

You can send large files (up to 1GB) to temporary storage at http://transferbigfiles.com and they'll be there for five days before being deleted from their server. You upload the file and fill in the recipients' e-mail address and can provide password protection. They receive a link to the file's temporary location on their server.

Multiple Gmail accounts with storage up to 2GB each work great for miscellaneous backups for yourself, with no time limit.
