I just discovered that I can edit posts that i have previously submitted.
Is that new or was i just not paying attention ?

Not paying attention. It has always been a feature.
You are allowed up to *I think* 5 edits per day, with the exception of the test forum and co-op forum. There you are allowed unlimited edits per day.

Okay, I lied, 5 edits per day. So the learn something today:
Did you know that giving a pine cone ginger a gentle squeeze everyday keeps your hand soft and supple? My pine cones gingers died back 3 weeks ago and my hands are like crab claws!
