CLOSED: HAPPY HOLIDAY SEED SWAP :o)

Our Holloween wasn't much either, only got 7 Trick or Treators lol I live all the way out in the country so they don't come much anymore, not since the bad stuff started happening, like people putting needles and such in the candy, we used to get slues of them when I was a kid, kinda miss that! It's a good thing now to check that candy, glad my son is grown, don't have any grandchildren I have to worry about :(

I'm ready to send mine, need to ask though, just to make sure about the label to put inside, just make a label and you will tape it on the envelope Connie? Never been in a swap before.

Not much of an imagination so just copied some Christmas packets from DG's lol There's a little something in there for you Connie, for doing this, Merry Christmas!

Hi all,
Didn't forget about the swap, just had a minor finacial situation with a vet bill:) Bunny with some gastric distress, but all is well. Did cause some chuckles at the vets since I couldn't come up with a name for my little buddy when he was young, so all he responds to now is Rabbit, which is now his official name:LOL: He just had too much attitude and personality to try to saddle him with a cutsie bunny name so I just kept calling him Rabbit.

Seeds will be mailed by Nov. 10 or so. Sorry for holding anything up. This will work out great with my first year of wintersowing=)

I have been ignoring what I have and making lists from my catalogs! I now have 5 pages of stuff I want from Chiltern Seeds and am only to the L's! And that is one serious catalog--no photos:LOL: I'll whittle it down but since they are in England it'll be hard, they have varieties of stuff I've never seen offered before.

I have a love hate relationship with sweet peas too. I keep buying them and trying them and have yet to have one make it. I gave all my sweet pea seeds to a member last year determined to give up on them, but then I started reading about WS and am about to give em another try:LOL:

This past Spring I tried them and when I planted all my cleome, I had ONE (the others I tried didn't make it) that grew in with them, took me forever to figure out what it was, and still don't know how that ONE got mixed in with the cleomes lol.. I have a few seed a trader sent me that I am going to try WSing... If they don't make it thru WSing them, I won't try them again...

I have the list of the seeds I have so far. But not a list of the seeds I still need... and i still have to look most of them up for the info on them... Like what zones they are for, how tall they get, if they can be WSed etc... I really do need to get that part done lol..

Connie, thanks for asking after me. After all that hoopla getting the packets ready, then to fall behind so badly - I'm really sorry.

Between my sudden illness (all better now), DH's current illness (please, give me a sick child any day!), a visit to Florida to see family in two weeks AND moving in three weeks - well, to say I need 36 hours in a day is an understatement. Add to that we picked up 4 new projects at work and I'm working about 12 hours a day (sobs).

Now that I'm over my momentary pity party, please don't give up on me. I WILL get my seeds in before the due date. (because I have to pack the rest of them up...LOL)

Ya'll pray for me, that I won't lose my mind, kill someone, forgot to pack something fragile carefully...and that we get there in time for my daughter's to arrive on December 22nd. (oh, note to self, order plane tickets...ACK)
