Connie..it is about...52 miles...just right up M50...to US12. then 3 miles..west..hehehe..not far...our son lives in New Port..hahah...So we go there often...lol...Heheh...you are right...maybe we have been there at the same..time..lol...Winter is coming..though..need to get there one more time..before the snow flies...lol...And I need some Christmas stuff..hahah...(stickers) (paper)..hehe...etc....Wish there was a Craft 2000 here...but nope.. Sorry I seem to be slacking, been a little under the weather, still ain't feeling up to par, this weather has a tendency to get to me, and it is really cold out and dh said it is trying to snow :(
I still haven't gotten around to getting the yard ready for the kids harvest party here Friday night...

Rushing around during work breaks trying to get all the last veggie's off the vine before the anticipated frost/freeze tonight - pulled all the MG vines down yesterday and checked mulch on the roots of new transplants.
Got a lot of housecleaning done yesterday and moderately caught up with laundry.
Just looked at the seed bags - as last night I was too tired to go asorting...LOL. Maybe by the end of the week, if DH gets me a little under desk heater to keep my fingers from being frozen :) I could use some global warming right now...0_0 Seems the cold weather is a bit early in my neck o' the woods.

I have got MG seeds coming out of my eye balls rofl. Boy this vine sure put out the seed :o) Wished all my other flowers would produce seed like that :o)

cedarnest , I go thru this every year at this time, then in January (when it seems to be the coldest here) then again in the spring when the sinus hits, so I am use to it....
It just seems this time it started earlier and is lasting way longer than before... But I will be fine, once these 4 walls quit closing in rofl... I hate being couped up. :o)

I'm sending my package of seeds to you today, 10-26. Sending extra stamps just in case you need them for heavy seeds. LOL Either my seeds or the decorations I used were heavy enough for additional stamps. Enjoyed entertaining my crafty side. Wow, what a mess I strewn, scissors, paper, glue, stickers....Oh my...had fun but didn't enjoy the clean up though. Now, for Sheran's Christmas Swap....Going to...Play it again, Sam.

I sent my seeds to all the swaps I'm in, out ages ago :o) So I only have this one to do now. I think I still owe a couple of people envelopes, but I can't remember lol, got to go thru all my d-mails. I don't think I owe anyone any seeds, but the brain is numb so if I do, I hope they will let me know.... I sure wouldn't want to owe someone and them think bad of me because I forgot... I know how it is to get busy with everyday life and just forget something... or think you have mailed something out just to find it hidden under something lol... Done that before.

I raked leaves today, haven't done that in a very long time. dh wanted to mulch them with the mower, but I wouldn't let him lol. I wanted them for my new beds I am going to be doing in the Spring.... Had to get them raked up today since the temps are going to be dropping again (starting tomorro)... That was a sad indian summer we had, 1 day :(
But it was beautiful out there today... So I just had to take advantage of it...

How was everyones Holloween??? Ours was peaceful and quite :o) In the 30 odd some years we have lived here, we have never gotten any trick or treaters, I guess that is part of country life :o) After my kids were on their own, I use to go to my moms and help her pass out candy...
Trick or Treat isn't what it use to be when I was a kid going around collecting all those goodies, it is a shame that some people would want to harm kids and ruin their fun... Heard on the news last night one kids parent found a razor blade in the bag :( geesh, so sad, but glad the child didn't get a hold of it...
