CLOSED: HAPPY HOLIDAY SEED SWAP :o)

La Salle, MI(Zone 5b)

I have totally enjoyed all the seed swaps I have been in the past few months, so I thought I'd give it a try....
I am looking for only 15 people who are interested in doing this. (Please no more than 15) I will be #16...

The way it will work,
You each send 15 Happy Holiday Seed Packets to me in a bubble envelope, along with return postage & labels enclosed.
Put - Happy Holiday Swap on the outside of the envelope...
Mark the seed packs clearly with name of the flower seed & color, and your DG user ID.
Please be considerate of other members participating, make sure to have all your seeds out of pods and dried...
Decorate your seed packs happy holiday style :o)
They can be all one kind of seed or a variety... If they are big seeds at least 8 to a pack and 20 at least for smaller seeds...That way who ever Winter Sows can do half and plant the rest in the Spring.

Have all seeds to me by Dec 1st... So I can have them in the Mail by Dec 5th...If all seeds are received sooner, then they will get mailed out sooner...

Happy Holiday's Everyone :o)

Connie

Who would like to try a few seeds of Agastache "anise hyssop", I accidently broke my plant looking to see where the seeds would come from, I placed it in a bag to dry out and managed to get a few seeds, I am not sure if they are viable or not. The first one to post they want to try them from the list above will receive them in their envelope :o)

Okay, Just checking in to see how everyone is doing ?
I have got mine all put together :o) Now I can consentrate
on decorating the yard for our yearly youth harvest party...
Got to dig out all the halloween decorations... and once
this rain lets up (hopefully) I can get out in the yard and get
that job done.

I got out the ol' seed crate and was sorting through some stuff last night. I actually have quite a bit of stuff I could include. This sort of surprises me as I thought I had already "cleaned" out my seeds earlier this spring. I sent out bunches of "like" seeds, like 5 or 6 types of sunflower seed or sweet peas in different varieties. I also sent a huge (shoebox size) box of seeds dated from 1999-2004 to one person last year. There was easily 60-80 seed packs in there. I have alot of nerve even looking at a catalog, huh?LOL

Sultan, WA(Zone 8a)

I'm just trying to put together a cute envelope for 'em.

Greensboro, NC(Zone 7a)

That's the next project:) I spent my lunch hour (work at WM) cruising around the craft dept. and may make a trip to Michael's this week. There is some really cute stuff out there.

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

Mine will go out in tomorrow's mail

La Salle, MI(Zone 5b)

Oh WOW Anita, you are really on the ball :o) Love it lol

Connie

Paris, TN(Zone 6b)

Got my seed packets 'dressed up' and now just need to set aside time to go through and see what I can share :) Mine should go out this week too.

I have to stay away from Michael's as I'm on a tight budget and Michael's and 'budget' just don't go together!!!

~Sunny

La Salle, MI(Zone 5b)

Oh I know what you mean, There is a Michael's in Toledo, But we have a craft store here called Crafts 2000, They give 40% discount on all white tagged items and 50% if you have a membership. I have to stay away from there, I spend way to much when I go thru their doors lol... I know what you mean by budget, dh retired a year ago the 1st of this month and the pay cut has been a killer on me :(

Looking forward to receiving the seeds and dividing them up between everyone. This is going to be soooo much fun :o)

Connie
