November 4th College Station roundup TRADELISTS!

plantladyhou, I'd love to try a plumeria cutting, too!

Magnolia, TX(Zone 8b)

Plantlady, could I get some cypress vine seeds, you know, the one we can never remember the name of. And how about a piece of the char potato vine, please.

Trishann, if you have a weathered bird house, that would be great. My yard has weathered hitching post for giants, wishing well, fence & all of it is really weathered! lol

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Here goes what little I have:
Dr. Seuss brugmansia - 3 rooted plants and as many cuttings as needed. They root really well and the momma brug is about 15 feet by 15 feet, so there's no limit on cuttings
Cigar plants - david cuphea (hummers love it!) - lots of cuttings as well
Shrimp plants - red (have lots for cuttings, too)
sweet potato vine - dark purple
pink penta 3 or 4
Milkweed - I just looked and the cats may have consumed the plants I started. I'll bring what they haven't eaten.
seeds:
basil - lots available
milkweed - yellow and orange
yellow marigolds
persimmon tree

Dave I would love a rooted cutting of your crepe myrtle. DDH loves these things. Bringing plenty of plumeria and your name is on one. (Also bringing my loppers 'cause those "cuttings" are pretty big around)

Hi Folks!

I'm late making my decision, but I am coming. I will spend tomorrow getting some plants, etc. together. Not sure what all, but I'll be there.

Janet

ps I'll bringing "Penelope" (made right here on Dave's Garden in the Artisans Forum) and another sculpture with me to show off. :-)

Edited to say:
Penelope was so much fun to make. Having "everyone" here watching over our shoulders made the experience that much more enjoyable. I should have posted the link to the thread where we created her when I made this post, just in case you haven't seen it, and would like to view it.

Thanks Kim. I'm really looking forward to putting faces and voices with the folks that I've met over the past 5-6 months.

I'll have to get out the Trusty Rand MacNally so I don't get lost!

Janet

Kim (blue_eyes),

I'm sorry to say I won't have any Teresa Salvias, but everything else I will and I've set aside some for you. :)

Frostweed, do you have any 'crossvine' babies?

Katy, TX(Zone 8b)

We can hardly wait to meet y'all - at least I can't. Some of you are a little hyper and show it and the rest of us are hyper and don't show it. Ought to be interesting.......
