Butterfly Host Plant Seed Exchange? Anyone interested?!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I had read the other thread, so it made perfect sense to me. LOL! Sylvia got sidetracked with trying to get a move organized. She needs help potting up her plants on the 28th, she is moving on the 1st and has been having leg and hip problems this week. Here is the link if you can help. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/662131/

I've been gardening for butterflies for a couple of years.

Will the exchange be SASE if one is offering seeds but does not need an exchange?

Wish I'd read this thread before as I've just passed on oodles of butterfly and fragrant seeds to a fellow gardener, hoping she would find takers for them!

I may still have some Aristolochia Gibertii seeds, but I'll have to check this. Passiflora...Corky Vine's seeds are frequently ripening. .(Gulf Fritteries) Cassia Alata's seeds are ripeing right now. (Sulphurs)

Just a point about attaching trellis to fences. My neighbour attached a series of trellises to my long fence. With the weight of his mature huge vines and hurricane Wilma's strength my fence did not stand a chance to hold up. The fence on the other side had no vines attached and was not demolished.

Hi, bedouin-- Good to hear from you.

Our first trading thread got too long so we moved the discussion on to http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/661953/
Hopefully the trading will be 'ongoing' through the year as seeds are needed.

And yes, there are takers for seed in exchange for stamps, etc. The idea is, as you are thinking, to get the extra seeds out where they might be used for the BFs.

Will you copy and paste your post over there so others will see it? I am sure there will be some interest.

Thanks. t.

LOL well, now I see you did that! thanks. t.
