Mornin' all!
I've noticed that when I post a photo, the copyright info is plastered across the entire picture, thus making it difficult to see.
Haven't noticed on anyone else's photos.
How can I remedy this?
Thanks...
Question concerning photo posting...
It's most likely due to the size of your images. Generally, pictures that are 640 x 480 pixels, or 800 x 600 pixels are the best size for uploading to PlantFiles, BugFiles, the forums and your journal/diary. (Our system takes care of creating the thumbnail-size after you upload your full-size image.)
Oh, OK...thanks.
If I save a photo that I want to post, as a thumbnail then?
Nope, no need to save it as a thumbnail. Post it full-size (unless it's huge - bigger than 1,000 x 800 pixels - in which case you may want to reduce it down a bit to make it easier to upload.)
If I take pics, for the sole purpose of posting here on DG, I reduce them to 640x480 and save them. Of course if it's a pic of me, it might well be reduced to 200 or smaller. LOL
Lellie, You can slso click on "My Info" then click on "Manage your preferences" then click on "Copyrights"
You can eliminate or adjust the copyright from there.
