Should we have a Clematis Forum on DG?

I feel there should be one. I was able to find a lot of knowledge about the genus on DG but it seemed broken up over several discussions about 'other' things.
For all the popularity Clematis enjoys, one would think it was easy to grow. It doesn't seem to be the case with me. Are there any other people here who'd like to have a forum dedicated to discussions about Clematis?

There's a ton of discussion of Clematis over on Vines and Climbers, I would say there are enough Clematis threads over there that it could definitely be its own forum very easily.

I third that. As a Clematis newbie I'm always searching for answers, but more often than not I go to that "other website" to get information because it's easier and faster than searching the Vines and Climbers forum. I'd much rather stay in Dave's Garden.

Yes, you can get your questions answered and find out lots of information on the Vines and Climbers Forum, but it DEFINITELY would be great to have a forum dedicated to this beautiful plant.

I also would like to see a Clematis forum. I'm not really interested in any other vines besides Morning Glories and there is already a forum for that.

About time!

If there is a forum for Peonies and Violas, then in that sense, I'm suprised there is not one already. And true, at several times this summer, the majority of threads in "Vines" was about the fair genus Clematis.

There are just some things you cannot learn from anyplace other than DG.
