is anyone else still having "slow" problems.....

or is it just me? the only site i'm having trouble with is DG, so i'm assuming it isn't my computer. i tried posting in the rose forum this morning and it disappeared before i even sent it. my main problem, though, is slowness or inability altogether to navigate the site. thanks! debi

not me, though usually I am affected by slowness. Have to say, ever since I switched from DSL to cable, I have had no problems

Try restarting your computer, that helps mine when I slow down.

thanks, i restart it every day. too many storms here to leave it on all of the time.

I was having some trouble yesterday in early afternoon (Pacific time) where even on my fast network connection at work things were taking forever to load, but then when I got home in the evening and was on again it seemed fine, and today has been OK so far.

it seems to be a lot faster right now, hopefully i'm back to normal-whatever that is! LOL

Yes! Mine comes and goes, but it is definitely not as quick as it used to be. Sometimes I just give up.... I'm on cable. Can't imagine it on dial-up! Something is definitely wrong somewhere. But I'm sure that Dave is working on it. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now. Of course, the worst was when Dave was in California...That will teach him to leave Texas!! LOL

Very slow and can't get into some of my watched threads..Comes up, "page n ot found"..Hope it will be fixed soon..

ceejay, it's been happening with me for a few weeks too. i don't feel alone now. it was faster a little while ago, now it's kind of "down" again. i'll try to be patient (not one of my virtues). LOL

at least it's not as bad as last weekend!

Trackin - I think we're both experiencing the same down times, etc.... Definitely here on DG, and not our computers or ISPs....Did you read Dave's explanation on another thread? He's been working on it, and it should get much better soon. We are spoiled.... But it is HIS fault for making it so wonderful in the first place, and getting us soooo addicted! LOL

yes, i read it and i know he's working on it, but i'm with you, the poltergiests come out to play when he goes out of town! lol
