nap - I think your cards are lovely. Do you sell online? A local cardstore? K
What's Growing - Part 9!!
Thank you, Kay! You've seen four. I have well over 100. Maybe 200. Unfortunately I don't have a clue how to sell online, so just rely on friends and coworkers. But a couple of gift shops buy from me (very modest numbers) and resell them. They end up making more $/card than I do! My price is $1.50 or less in larger quantities. Here's a few more.
I'm D-mailing you. These are gorgeous! Kay
As usual, Nancy, your cards are beautiful!! I've started doing more photography cards than rubber stamped ones. What is your Christmas card going to be this year? I've already started thinking what I want to do.
I don't know, Anita, but a few people at work are asking me the same question. I hate to admit it, but it's probably time to plan. I hope you'll let me know if you think of something.
Thanks Al & Nancy!
Kay, I just enjoy my jack-in-the pulpit seed pods. Do you want to save seeds?
Dave
Dave - No, don't want to save seeds. It's just that they're lying there on the ground and didn't know if I should be planting or what. Probably anti-american, but I don't really like JITP. So, I'll just leave them there. Thanks for the response. K
Kay, Do you mean the bright red fruit part? Because I like that part better than the "flower".
Yes, that's the part - and it is pretty and bright - if it would just stand up. It just lies on the ground staring at me and I feel as if I should be doing with it - it kinda' nags me, you know?
Thanks, Dave. K
Oh. Mine stands. The ones that flopped didn't fruit.
Hi everyone, I am new here. I live in southern Quebec, Canada - zone 4a on a good day.
The lot is 16,000 sq. feet, all in lawn, no plants at all. Grass is not my favourite thing, so needless to say I started digging as soon as spring would permit, and have put in quite a bit in just one summer (moved in here Feb 2006).
Grampapa, you mentioned Russian Sage Little Spire as not flopping in the wind and heaven knows I need something strong enough to stand up to the winds I get on this lot! Do you think it will survive in my zone? Is it perennial?
jgpac00000 ~ If you look up the page abit you will see we have started another page, I am not sure gram will see it here. So if you post on the new page i'm sure gram will answer all your questions.
BTW: Welcome to the forum!!!
Welcome, JGPac, here is the link to the new thread. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/649875/

JGPac, I'll catch you here and on the new thread, just in case. Russian Sage Little Spire is perennial and is supposed to be hardy to zone 3. I live on a small lake and it is always windy here. I would sure give it a try.
welcome to the forum!
