Horsens, Denmark

Dear Dave`rs, I invite you to follow me back in time, to were dragons, witches, warlocks, nuns, monks and joyful music were a part of eveyday life.
This week-end there has been medieval festival (or as some say midevil) in Horsens.

Oh did not see it, but it probably was hidden some were, if a quick escape was needed :o)

I felt sorry for this little guy, he is the little brother from kid of the above photo, the one to the right and short hair.
No one wanted to play with him, he was to small. Poor little one :o(

I'm hoping that little boy grows up to be a hulking warrior coupled with the brains to outwit his brother! (and a sensitive heart that remembers how it felt to be left out...)
Thank you so much for posting these photos!
A long time ago I had a cultural exchange student come and live here in florida, she was from northern Germany...
She showed me photos of her riding a huge horse (looked like a clydesdale) with a long pointy spear (like a javelin or something) that she had to put through a gold ring about 1 inch in diameter, suspended by string between two posts. She had to do this while riding full tilt from 500 meters!
I was so impressed!
These photos you posted here (and at the link) reminded me of the her and the times we shared, thank you so much!
:)

Poor little guy....I wonder if the other kids were put off by that axe thing, it looks pretty scary. Who would let their kids play with those today? LOL

Horsens, Denmark

Hi Bright
Yes I agree with you, I felt soooo sorry for him, you can se in the photo how sad he was.
Oooh yes they had that riding thing here as well, but could not take a proper photo. Looked very difficult.
It is a good felling when you remember someone that you have met long ago isnīt, glad that these photos brought the times you had with her back :o)
