Euphorbia forum

West Orange, NJ(Zone 6a)

A home for Euphorbia, jatropha, poinsettia, and other oddities of the family Euphorbiaceae is desperately needed. Not only do postings go to houseplants, perennials, tropicals, succulents, and who knows where else, these plants have their own international society (like roses and orchids).

So please let us have a Euphorbia forum so I can learn how not to kill myself on my crown of thorns plant, please Dave? Plus my Buddha belly Jatropha gave birth twice since RUK gave it to me, you see how much help I need from a Euphorbia forum???

Anyone else fascinated by Euphorbiaceae, please chime in.

I would be interested, mainly, because of 'Jatropha'!

Vista, CA

I have several unknown memers of the family Euphorbiaceae, upon which I would like more info. I think its a good idea.

I would definitely subscribe.

Oh boy, more info on Jatropha. I have one, it was a gift. Neat looking thing.

I would also be interested in subscribing. Euphorbias are my favorite.

I would also add this forum to my watchlist if it was created.

I do alot with perennial Euphorbias and a number of the new cultivars. It's such a huge family, how could we avoid a forum on the family?

Got my vote

San Antonio, TX(Zone 8b)

I love euphorbias...and would also like to see a forum on these odd plants. How neat to chat with other buddha belly growers! I vote yes... :)

Euphorbia marginata--Native Texas annual otherwise known as Snow-on-the-Mountain and its companion eastern US native Snow-on-the-Prairie. =)

Growin, we could decide to limit it to succulent or tropical or exotic varieties. I don't want to limit to genus Euphorbia because then we'd kick out Jatropha (Buddha belly) and some other really interesting types. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can come up with an appropriate description for the forum? I'm asking for a forum to learn more, I know so little and have a couple of them.

YES! YES! I am looking for this "Euphorbia amygdaloides." Spurge

Euphorbia is such a large family that it'd probably be best to keep them together and just call it Euphorbia with the understanding that "...and related".
