Thanks, Kyle! Tahitian Sunset is a real winner in my book. It blooms faithfully every year, and it has large bloom heads. The fragrance is very soft like jasmine, but the oranges that come out are eye-catching. This was one of the first grafted trees that I ever purchased from Florida Colors, and I am glad I selected this one.
Some More Flower Pics
Just stunned at how beautiful they all are... such variety and color... I really love the Sariah... just gorgeous...
Brittany
Thanks, Brittany. You know...there's a plumeria named Brittney! It's spelled differently than your name, but it's a beauty: http://www.floridacolors.com/brittney.htm
Here is Dwarf Gem with its tiny flowers. Something has been eating the petals -- probably a grasshopper. I haven't used any pesticides this year on my plumies, and I don't intend to because I have a ton of ladybugs in the garden this summer.
I think we need to start a whole new thread with "Robert's recipes". I read the whole referenced MPG thread and though it was interesting. Robert, did I understand you correctly; you say you dip the cutting in Clonex, let it dry and dip it again? Interesting!
Yes that is correct!
i don't want to hijack Clares wonderful thread so pm if you got anymore questions or make a new thread and i will be happy to answer you..
:)
Clare wonderful shots keep them coming..
Oh Robert, I wasn't implying that you were hyjacking at all. I just think you have some fabulous information that could be shared in a thread just for it.
alice
It's cool:-) It would be a good thread to have:-)
Clare i dont know if you do brugs but a girl named Kell has come up with one all most a solid dark red its posted on the brug form regards Paul
Hi Paul! Kell is one of my dearest friends here at Dave's, but no more brugs for me! They are too high maintenance and require too much room.
Edited to add: Oh, yes, I remember that thread from last year. That is a gorgeous brug. Very beautiful.

Lopaka,
Ill hook you up with some nice ones if you like.
Im thinning the herd big time!
Heh... ya... another hobby lol!!
These bloom so much and the fragrance is soo intoxicating it makes me stoned.
Thanks, Trish! More to come soon... I have inflo's on these coming:
Seven seedings
Blue Violet from Thailand
Bali Hai Gold
Bali Palace
Miami Rose
Som Kalasin (Penang Peach)
Nebel's Rainbow
Hawaiian Spider Lily
Charlotte Ebert
Grove Farm
Two unknowns
Three unnamed...and a few others that I can't think of right now.
Hopefully, they will all bloom before it starts getting cool in late October. I may move some of them into my makeshift greenhouse this winter if they will fit so I can see them bloom.
Here is TW again. What a great bloomer! She is getting to be one of my favorites for reliability in blooming.
Copying and printing your picture of TW and showing it to mine and telling it to Bloom!!! Doggone it.. I don't think I have enough hot days left for an inflo to form before I have to dig them up for the garage stay.
Tahitian Sunset certainly is a looker, I'll agree.
Drooling on the keyboard as usual.. probably will gum the keys up when the drool mixes with the bread crumbs... *snork*
ROFLOL, Trish! You are so funny, girlfriend! Can you put lights in your garage -- maybe a couple of Metal Halide ones? I know electricity isn't cheap, but I bet they will bloom in the garage for you. I'm thinking that I will have to do the same thing to see some of my inflo's bloom.
I have more pictures to post, but it's late now. I'll post them tomorrow;-)
Here are a few more flower pics for you to see. Today is the last day of vacation so it's back to the grindstone tomorrow. I've been doing some last-minute gardening chores and repotting.
Here are some seedlings that I plunged into the ground. I had tomato plants here all spring and summer, and they were finishing up so I took them out.
