Psssst! Doesn't anyone read the classifieds?

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

Hi folks,

I admit, I didn't know about it, either, but there is a
classified forum here at Dave's!

http://davesgarden.com/forums/f/bulletins/all/

You can search, you can post an ad for only five buckaroos!
Come on, someone join me, I'm going to place an ad soon. Get
your five bucks and let's have fun!

Go here http://davesgarden.com/forums/bulletins/ to learn more
about posting a classified ad.

I thought the classified forum would be loaded with posts but so far not so. I hope it gets going--it could be really great!

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

There were many more ads before (only one showing today). I guess they ran their two week stint and got deleted, as the plan works.

Lots of times I look around here and wonder, "Hmmm...I really don't need this..." and "I really should sell this before I trip over it AGAIN!". Plus I have so many plants, heirloom seeds, tall tales, books, VHS tapes, tall tales, musical instruments, childrens learning games, tall tales, etc around me I hope to get my ducks in a row and one day advertise them! (And did I mention tall tales?)

Don't give up on the Classifieds, Folks. I bet we could all look around us and find a way to enjoy that forum!

mmm...shoe, you gave me lots of ideas for stuff to sell--hadn't thought of selling before this--I'm mainly a shopper!

But I didn't see a price for the classifieds--is it a free service?

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

Hi Tabasco,

It is only five dollars. You can learn more here:

LOL I must be blind. I still didn't see the price of the ads on that page. LOL t.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

You are messing with my head now t! I had to read it three times and click back and forth! I read over it too! LOL

It is listed on #3. "Once the ad is approved by the editors, you will be notified; you may then launch the ad by paying the $5 fee."

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Yep...for only five bucks you get to run an ad on the most popular (and best!) gardening website in the Whole Wide World.

The ads run for two weeks, no limit on words/descriptions, and you even get to post pics (that will enlarge when clicked on). Yay!

(And no, I don't get a commission for bragging about DG! I just love bragging!)

Tab and Bad,

Here at our house we have a saying for overlooking things like that.

"You're looking like a man."

LOL

Citra, FL(Zone 9a)

lol - looking like a man...lol...eyes closed, mouth open?
I just noticed the classifieds a couple of days ago, soon after I noticed the lastest post place on my homepage, which alerted me to the fact that Bulbmeister is having a sale (which I shopped and then talked myself out of.)

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

*cough cough*

Umm, Bulbmeister?

And are you keeping this little tidbit to yourself?

(hint hint)

Did I forget to mention the address? Look in the classifieds, silly!
lol

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

LOL... I haven't even been there since I first posted this thread, ha ha!

Be back soon!

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

When you click on your "Home" tab, you'll also find a link to the Classified Ads in the list o' links, just beneath all those tabs across the top.

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

I love the Classifieds! I just sold my mandolin via DG Classifieds! Yay!

Shoe (looking around for other things to sell via DG!)

West Pottsgrove, PA(Zone 6b)

I'm glad it sold, that was a good deal. You don't have any old Gibsons laying around, do you? lol

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

hah! Sure wish I did, claypa! But, I suppose, as you know, if I did I might not wanna sell those!

The last Gibson I owned/sold was a black Les Paul...have kicked myself many times for selling that one!

C'mon Folks, I bet we could sell near 'bout anything on the DG Classifieds. Hmmm...I even got a pair of shoes, only nine years old, barely worn and in New Condition, I'll offer at "brand new" sale price. (Got a few cobwebs in them but I'll clean them out!).

Snort.

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Hah! Don'tcha be snortin' at me, Terry!

But I assume that snort was simply an autonomical reflex, or sumpin' like dat, eh!?

*grin.

Archer/Bronson, FL(Zone 8b)

Shoe,

Congrats on selling the mandolin. I was drooling over it and surely if I had a job at the time, I would have bought it.

Then I would have to learn to play it now wouldn't I?

Molly
:^))))

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Sorry 'shoe - ya know I love ya! But the thought of you OWNING shoes, let alone SELLING them triggered an involuntary snort ;o)
